Alpha

At Alpha, we explore questions about life, faith, and meaning in a friendly and relaxed setting. Everyone is welcome.

Truro runs Alpha several times a year. We’d love to have you join us.

So what is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each week there is a video on a different question around faith that’s designed to create conversation. Questions like, who is Jesus? Or, how can we have faith?

After the video...

there’s a chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything. And there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, and open environment. You can be yourself.

This past year, we have done Alpha on Zoom, which has worked better than we thought it would! As time goes by, we’ll make decisions about meeting together again in person.

Alpha is run around the world, in all kinds of settings. Here’s a preview video if you’re curious to learn more.
